Over the past few months, Denise Boehm has transformed my life. A couple of years ago, I injured my lower back, causing a double-herniated disk. I was in constant pain and could hardly walk, much less perform many of the activities I was accustomed to, like exercising, ballroom dancing, walking on the beach, and even the ones I didn’t enjoy so much, like laundry.
I tried everything, starting with western medicine – painkillers, muscle relaxants and anti-inflammatory drugs, which only worked so long as I was taking them. Then acupuncture, which provided some relief, but not nearly enough. I also added chiropractic adjustments, including a decompression device, and traditional massage therapy. Each of these therapies gave me some relief, but I was still very limited in the activities I could perform.
Then I went to Denise. We discussed the possible benefits of Cranial Release Technique (CRT) in combination with massage therapy. I decided to give it a try.
After the first treatment, I could tell it was working. Now, less than three months later, my pain level has decreased, on a scale of 1 to 10, from a constant 6 to an occasional 1, and most of the time I am not in any pain. I am able to return to most of my activities (even the laundry). The improvement to my life has been nothing short of miraculous.
